My Top Songs of 1988

We'll start 1988 with what, in my opinion, is by far George Michael's best hit - Faith.  This was also #1 for the year.  Sorry the official video couldn't be loaded.

Next is one of the more humorous music videos in the world thanks to Robin Williams and company.  Bobby McFerrin's Don't Worry, Be Happy.

Now for a couple of unique hits from '88.  Escape Club's Wild, Wild West (not thrilled with the video, maybe just listen) . . .

And Information Society's What's On Your Mind.

We'll end with the #2 song of '88: Need You Tonight by INXS.

Honorable Mentions:
Dedicated to my son who is an Elvis fan: Cheap Trick's remake of Don't Be Cruel

George Harrison.  Got My Mind Set On You.  #3 Song of the year.

Guns N' Roses.  Sweet Child O' Mine. Lots of glam rock/heavy metal this year so here's a nod of recognition for the highest ranked of the bunch (#5 for 1988).
Aerosmith.  Angel.  One of the few slow songs I've included.

Michael Jackson.  Man In The Mirror.  No Weird Al this time, just a good MJ tune.
